The Nedbank Golf Challenge, in honour of Gary Player, is one of the highlights of the South African sports and social calendar and has consistently drawn the biggest names in world golf to the fairways of the Gary Player Country Club at Sun City. This DP World Tour event occupies a key place on the Opening Swing of the Race to Dubai. It features an exclusive field challenging for $6 million in total prize money and the honour of joining former world number ones, Major winners, Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup stars as a winner of "Africa's Major".
