Sales Executive

Tasks and responsibilities
- Provide sales for custom stands, general installations, grandstands/marquees: - Liaise with clients and prospective clients assigned to you
- Qualifier customer needs
- Develop business proposals
- Identify the proposal and price (graphic sketches, design) in collaboration with the Design Office and/or other BUs of the group depending on the project
- Help clients to make decisions
- Calculate profitability predictions for each project
- Ensure that the project is handed over to the project manager correctly
- Present proposals and prices (graphic sketches, design) in collaboration with the Design Office and/or in accordance with the company’s pricing policy - Receive orders:
- Invoice for deposits, process deposit payments
- Help clients to make decisions
- Act as an interface for the customer, from the point of order to payment
- Propose alternative solutions if problems arise (dates, staff, etc.) - Always convey a good image of the company and brand
- Develop client portfolios:
- Identify prospects with regard to specific targets
- Propose, organise and implement marketing activities
- Monitor commercial reports identified in collaboration with managers
- Qualify the client base
- Propose, organise and implement prospective marketing activities to develop and maintain your portfolio and to attract business
- Follow-up on technical and commercial aspects of confirmed projects:
- Ensure project tracking
- Check equipment availability and technical constraints with operations team
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Act as an interface for clients until delivery and payment
- Propose alternatives solutions if problems occur during delivery
- Monitor billing and client payments
- Work with clients in cases of litigation
- Establish and monitor sales reporting
Internal and external relations
- With management with regard to project monitoring and sales figures
- With functional and operational departments in order to ensure that information is coordinated correctly and operations run smoothly
- With clients in order to monitor project progress, in parallel with the project manager
- With representatives from other BUs in the group
Necessary knowledge and skills
- Education/training: BAC +2 (equivalent of university diploma) specialising in sales/technical sales, plus many years of experience as a sales representative/business developer/technical sales representative in a B-to-B environment
- Mastery of sales and negotiation techniques
- Knowledge of the brand, products and activities of the BU and the group
- Multi-lingual
- Knowledge of the local economy
- Knowledge of and experiencing using various software: office, project management, design and creation, accounting management, financial, administrative and commercial
