Le Havre Wine and Gastronomy Fair

From 23 to 25 February 2019 at the Carré des Docks

From 23 to 25 February 2019, the Carré des Docks event centre will be hosting the 20th Wine and Gastronomy Fair. Some 130 artisans and wine producers will be presenting their specialities, and sharing their knowledge about a wide variety of great products:
-    Cheeses
-    Mushrooms
-    Organic wines, craft wines and wines with an "appellation d’origine"
-    Spices
-    Teas
-    Deli meats
-    Chocolates…

Products from every region

The great diversity of French regions is on display at the Wine and Gastronomy Fair, which takes visitors on a tour of typical regional dishes: shellfish from Brittany, Basque deli meats, cheeses from Auvergne, sweets from the south of France... and many other surprises.

Visitors will be able to meet manufacturers, artisans, distributors and producers in a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. Small estates or major brands of wines, sweet or savoury delicacies, etc. Each stand makes you want to stop for a while.

Workshops, meetings and tasting sessions

A wide-ranging programme of activities will bring together local wine-waiters and chefs for tasting sessions, discussions, gourmet workshops, oenology classes, fun and educational presentations aimed at the general public and aficionados of all ages.

For people who support environmentally-friendly and sustainable farming techniques, an organic circuit has been laid out at the fair, and, for the first time, there will be village showcasing local products made by artisans and producers from the Seine Maritime region. This initiative promotes short distribution channels and product traceability, and visitors also benefit from great "direct-from-the-farm" prices.

Over the years, the Wine and Gastronomy Fair has become an eagerly-awaited event, a reference in the field of fine food and wine. It attracts a growing number of visitors, whether avid gourmets or just curious.
