Gourmets and foodies will be heading to the 26th Vertou Wine and Gastronomy Fair from 15 to 18 February 2019 at the Sèvre et Maine Hall. Eighty small regional producers and winegrowers will be presenting their tasty products:

- Teas
- Spices
- Cheeses
- Deli meats
- Mushrooms
- Chocolates…
Discovering local produce and talking to the producers
Quality, a warm welcome and the spirit of sharing are the key words for this event, where artisans, producers, manufacturers and distributors come to meet lovers of fine wines and food. They offer them a culinary and wine-tasting tour of France, with specialities from Alsace, Bordeaux and Brittany, etc.
Many tasting sessions are organised: sweet or savoury? There is no better way to find out what you prefer than by tasting. The objective is to show visitors the pleasures of food and drink (in moderation). Small producers, big brands in the gastronomic food sector... there is something for everyone.
As you go from stand to stand, you will come across a host of appetizing forms, colours and smells, highlighting the diversity of the Wine and Gastronomy Fair.
New: the organic circuit
An organic circuit has been laid out to cater for the growing demand for more sustainable, responsible consumption. The circuit guides visitors to stands with certified organic products. A special "organic circuit" map is provided, and all the stands concerned by the initiative have a sign with the "organic" logo. In addition to tasting sessions, visitors can learn about the producers' eco-friendly techniques in a festive and relaxed atmosphere.
Since its creation, the Wine and Gastronomy Fair has become the reference event for fine wine and food. It is a great opportunity to bring together gourmets and foodies, whether they be amateurs or great connoisseurs!
